We really did not know what to expect from a pirate-themed resort but we had a beautiful and very comfortable room. Mid-week and off-season, we had the whole resort practically to ourselves. It is situated on the water so we enjoyed a morning walk around the property. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! I can't imagine what the resort is like during the summer, it must be crazy busy with the amusement park. But if I lived near, I would definitely take my grandkids for a couple of days.

The apartment has large windows, offering beautiful views of the surrounding nature throughout the stay, while still ensuring privacy — you can't see inside. There are curtains in the bedroom. The owner is kind, helpful, and always willing to assist with anything we needed. The location is perfect — a peaceful and serene spot about 300 meters from a lake, where you can rent a kayak directly from the owner. The nearest store is about 5 minutes away by car, or you can take a lovely one-hour walk along the lake. We tried several accommodations during our stay in Sweden, and this one was by far the best!
