Enjoying a peaceful beachfront location on the white and sandy Chaweng Beach, SALA Samui Chaweng Beach Resort comprises of two buildings. The resort features luxurious pool villas and suites, a signature 'moon pool' that overlooks the sea and a romantic beachfront restaurant. The spacious pool deck also comes with plenty of sunbeds and a kid's pool. From check in to departure, our stay was just wonderful. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I loved the small but thoughtful touches - the welcome drink and towel, the ability to select our pillows and lotion scents, the sandwich and fruit platter as we waited for our room. Our Garden balcony room was fabulous. It was clean and spacious, though the clear glass tub/shower in the middle of the bathroom space meant that we'd have to curtain it off and only one person could be using that space at a time. The Garden pool was lovely and quiet, while the Beach pool and area was luxurious. We had dinner at The Tent and breakfasts at Sexy Fish and they were wonderful. The breakfast buffet had a great varied selection. The resort is a quick walk to restaurants and the busier Chaweng Beach strip. Loved the location - we walked down the beach for more casual lunch and to get a Thai massage (a must do!). This was our first time staying at a five-star hotel and it exceeded our expectations.

The en suite bathroom comes with a shower and premium amenities. A beautiful resort in a great location. The rooms were spacious and well decorated and all the staff were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, hard to beat that one.

A spa and 2 outdoor pools aside, it also has 3 restaurants and free Wi-Fi. Hidden gem in the island, the room was absolutely fantastic and comfortable, the view was breathtaking! The breakfast was amazing, thank you for the delicious fresh fruits! :) We also had a wonderful NYE evening, thank you for the professional hospitality!

All of the following stand out to us: delicious and healthy breakfast options, beautiful views on the beach, friendly staff, game room, library, kayaks and stand up paddle boards, walkability to the night market and peaceful vibe at the resort.

Best vibes, most beautiful interior design, every little detail is careful thought of. A true dreamy place. Could not be happier and definitely will come back in a yearly basis. I needed another hotel at the end of my journey in Koh samui and had not booked any yet, turns out I love this boutique hotel so much that I asked the super friendly Hotel Manager to book me again the same room for a couple more days after my pilates retreat. Already can’t wait to be back in a week! :) 1000% wonderful experience, better than you could even imagine!

We stayed at the Cactus Villa, which was stunning and truly felt like a home away from home. The photos online don’t do justice to this beautiful place—it’s even more incredible in person. The staff are incredibly kind, thoughtful, and accommodating—they go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Lou Lou Restaurant was a highlight—the food was so good that we kept ordering more, and the pricing for both food and drinks was very reasonable compared to other hotels we’ve stayed in. Unfortunately, we experienced food poisoning during our last two days, but the staff were incredibly helpful and caring, doing everything they could to assist us. This hotel is truly unique—offering a boutique feel rather than a big resort vibe. If that’s what you’re looking for, this is the perfect spot for you.
