Located at the Paul Kruger Gate to the Kruger National Park, Kruger Gate Hotel is situated on the banks of the Sabie River. Kruger Gate Hotel is a fantastic location right at the entrance to Kruger Park, making it incredibly convenient for wildlife enthusiasts. We took a safari organized by the hotel and were thrilled to see all the animals from the Big Five. The pool is wonderful and offers a stunning view of the river, where we had the unique opportunity to see elephants, antelopes, hippos, and giraffes coming right up to the edge.

Very clean, modern and everything is working perfectly. The service was excellent and staff were very friendly and attentive. We had forgotten to make transport arrangements from airport to the hotel and we tried many website and transportation company but they didn't have availability. I texted the hotel about 5 hrs before arrival and they were able to arrange transport for us. We were very happy.

This place is simply amazing. The tents are super nice and clean provided with mosquito nets and air conditioning. Private bathroom as part of the tent. The staff is very friendly and you can easily connect with other people during game drive or at the camp fire. Game drives were fantastic! We have seen all the big 5 and our guides Karabo and Floyd are very knowledgeable. We also really enjoyed the food. The star is the braai (bbq) which offers options for meat lovers and vegetarians. I was surprised how good the oxtail was. The starter soups are also amazing. Vegetarian options were also available on request. Potential allergies were requested beforehand. For breakfast my favourite was the omelette, but other options are provided as well. Besides all of this you can enjoy the pool surrounded by birds between your game drives and in the night time, the sounds of the bush (yes we heard hyenas while falling asleep, but no need to worry, all is safe as a fence separates you from the wild animals!). Don’t forget to loop up at night and enjoy the clear night sky full of stars from the entrance of your tent. Brendan has been super useful to assist us with the tour booking to Sabi Sand

Beautiful landscaping, extremely comfortable lodge. Nicolette and Matthew have put thought and love into so many small details that make their place charming, romantic, and perfect. The breakfast and dinners were all well presented, abundant and delicious. Nicolette also introduced us to a fantastic game drive guide, Christelle. We would not hesitate to send any of our friends and family here! We researched so many place in and around Marloth Park. If you’re looking at this property, book it! You won’t regret it.

Everything was beyond expectactions. Everyone were so polite, nice and tried to make our stay unforgetable. The game drives were really something, you experience only once in life. Special thanks to Sean, who drove us through fantastic locations and answered all of our quetions about. We saw 4 of bug five animals on one ride and saw many others. We did not see the leopards but seeing four black rhinos together was more rarely experience, and Sean told us he never in his life saw anything like that. The food was also amazing, they know exactly what they are doing. Thanks again. Stay here you won’t regret.

Super friendly and very attentive. Paid a lot of attention to our long list of requests. We were lucky enough to see a few animals at a close range very beautiful felt one with nature. The pictures don’t even do justice it’s a must experience in person. The place is quiet and very relaxing… everything was as promised and perfect to our liking.

Everything was perfect. We got a personalized stay. Janus, help us to book 2 big 5 safaris and we were lucky to see all the animals. As well, we got a driver, Given, very good guy who always keep the car clean and a smile on his face. The food was amazing, we got one Ostrich carpaccio, amazing taste. The room was more than perfect. I can not express what a memorable experience we got. PERFECT!

Amazing people and amazing place! They treat you like family and the food, omg, so good and homemade, best bobotie ever! The bed was very comfy and the facilities in general were great, also having the swimming looking out to wildlife, so nice! Highly recommended, especially staying in Sabi Sands, we got to see so many animals and super close. We will be back for sure. Thank you very much for everything.
