The location was good in a safe and vibrant neighborhood, with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The roof was spacious, clean, the bed comfy. Loved that the hotel had an underground parking. Staff was very helpful, they even arranged breakfast for us to go when we had to leave early the next day. Will stay here again on the next visit to Cape Town.

The breakfast and dinners are phenomenal, the chef is extremely talented and creative and our dinners there were one of the best we have had in a long time. We also appreciated their free shuttle service to the Victoria waterfront/store. This was our 3rd time at the Winchester Mansion and our best stay due to the renovation and enhancements they made.

Some rooms have a private balcony or patio. Excellent location with the park, little stream and the turtles!) easy access to downtown or the vine region. Shops and some eateries within minutes, yet pristine and quiet relaxing setting. Nice restaurant, helpful staff, beautiful gardens. Gym/pool are great. Staff are friendly and helpful - we had a small issue with the shower drain and it was fixed promptly. Likely best option for Kaapstadt visit. Get a car for travel to Stollenbosch and Konstantia. Walk about in the wonderful Claremont neighbourhood. Enjoy the marvellous Mountain View.
