Superb experience at this hotel, one of the best in Japan for sure... I have been to a few hotels and most of them are simply not as good as Keihan in Kyoto. The toilet size is larger than most hotels in Japan.

The place is very clean and tidy, 9 minutes walk to Kamogawa Delta, such a great stay and fantastic enviroment! The staff are very helpful, definitely would like to stay next time.
Kevin was an absolute delight to treat with. He helped us secure tickets to the 185th edition of Kamowaga Odori. The check-in and check-out were a breeze. The place is comfortable and spacious.
The Moxy is just has a great cost-benefit value and we love the design and design thinking that goes into this hotel chain. The location is right next to the train station, making the coming and going very fluent and even the transition down to Kyoto station to catch a bullet train is immediate.
The location is unbeatable, a very short walk to the subway and bus stop. A lot of great restaurants and bars nearby as well. The room is comfy and well distributed. The staff was very friendly too.

Location from the train station was further than we expected. Due to our own oversight and the number of hotels we had booked for our trip we forgot to check in to the off site reception to register and collect our passwords for the locked key box. Some understanding guests allowed us into the apartment foyer and we confirmed our registration by phone and on line after a lengthy process.
