Located opposite Albert Park and Albert Park Lake, the 4-star Mercure Melbourne Albert Park provides convenient accommodation 7 minutes' drive from central Melbourne. We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved our experience! The hotel itself is beautiful — the room was spacious, clean and had a lovely view over Albert Park. The spa area was great, the sauna was hot enough to meet the standards of my Finnish boyfriend. Every single staff member we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. We arrived before noon, well ahead of check-in, and the front desk staff happily stored our luggage so we could head out. Not long after (still before official check-in time), they called to let us know the room was ready — and when we returned, our luggage was already waiting in the room for us. It’s those thoughtful touches that make a stay memorable. For the price, the value was exceptional. We’ve stayed in quite a few places around Australia, but this hotel has easily become one of our favorites. Highly recommend!

Newly refurbished Mercure Melbourne Southbank is ideally located just 601m from Southbank Promenade on the Yarra River, a 10 min walk to the popular Bourke Street Mall, 15 minutes' walk from Crown... always easy to get to and the staff are always great

Mercure North Melbourne (previously Rydges) features 70 modern guest rooms, an outdoor pool and a café/bar. It is conveniently located directly opposite the Royal Children’s Hospital. From the time we got there, we were greeted with a warm smile, making it super simple to check in. The room we occupied was neat and organized, with enough space for three people. We had our meals at the Polo Cafe on the lower level, and it was a pleasant experience; the food looked great and tasted amazing.

Best possible location! Clean room, nice view, friendly staff. Single beds, which was weird. They gave us a 3rd rollaway bed as the room originally came with only 2 single beds. Beds were super comfy.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mercure Melbourne Therry Street, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The hotel’s prime location at 43 Therry Street places it within a short walking distance of the iconic Queen Victoria Market, offering guests easy access to fresh produce and a vibrant shopping atmosphere. Additionally, the proximity to tram stations and the University of Melbourne makes it an ideal choice for both tourists and business travelers.  Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the reception staff, whose friendly and professional demeanor set the tone for my stay. Check-in was prompt, and the staff were more than willing to assist with inquiries and transportation arrangements, making me feel truly welcomed. My room on the 10th floor provided a picturesque view of Victoria Market. The space was both clean and spacious, featuring a comfortable queen bed, a functional work desk, and a cozy armchair with a footrest. The inclusion of a kitchenette equipped with a microwave allowed for convenient in-room dining, adding to the overall comfort of the stay.  One of the standout features of this hotel is its commitment to cleanliness and comfort. The room was meticulously maintained, and the bed provided a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom, though compact, was modern and featured a shower with excellent water pressure. The hotel’s location is truly unbeatable. Being just a stone’s throw away from Queen Victoria Market allowed me to indulge in fresh produce and local delicacies effortlessly. Moreover, the nearby tram station made exploring Melbourne’s CBD and other attractions incredibly convenient.   In conclusion, my stay at Mercure Melbourne Therry Street was marked by comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a centrally located accommodation with top-notch amenities and a welcoming atmosphere.
