We wanted a basic room that was clean and comfortable.The motel was budget friendly, exceptionally clean and within walking distance to stores and restaurants. The room had some upgrades with comfortable beds and pillows and newer bedding. The staff was professional and courteous. I don't know why the coffee wasn't any good but it wasn't. I think the water was bad. don't know I'm just presuming. I had a load of luggage and they didn't even have a cart.
