Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.

We enjoyed our stay at Berry's motel. The room was clean and quite quiet. The location is very convenient since it's close to the highway, although far enough that the noise is not an issue. We stayed two night and spent the day in Halifax, the drive to and back was smooth and quick.

Old-fashioned road motel, owner operated. WiFi signal is strong, and always available. Mr. Berry himself is onsite and genuinely concerned about your welfare.
The room was spacious and brightly lit. It appears to be recently remodeled. The bed was also quite comfortable. The motel is convenient to both town and the highway. A good, but basic continental breakfast. A good value.
A nicely appointed motel with pleasant courtyard for the off-street parking right in front of the rooms. We were greeted by a friendly person at the front desk when we arrived and provided with a simple breakfast in a very nice breakfast room the next morning.
