The lady who checked us in was very nice and supportive! She even helped us adjust the booking that we have. Here, we feel we paid not enough for what we received for that price. Super comfy and large beds, quality shampoos replenished daily (no SLS), and some cookies as a cherry on top of all of that. Rooms were well light and spacious. No joke, the best accommodation we have been to so far in our trip.

In December we stayed at the Dunstan House in Clyde to start our Otago Rail Trail trip. It was perfect in every way. The host was attentive, the room comfortable and we had a delicious breakfast.

Set on lovely private gardens, these log style chalets are located 3 minutes’ drive from Alexandra. There is a seasonal swimming pool and a BBQ area.

The location is away from the bustle of Cromwell by a beautiful quiet inlet. It is very peaceful. If action is your thing there are walking trails and biking trails in your doorstep.
