Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.

A New Zealand motel with comfy chairs, settees in fact! A rare find. Super comfy bed. Helpful hostess. Good value and short drive to Lake Tekapo. Easy walk to the village. A famous pie shop and two pubs selling jugs of beer at reasonable prices.

A great place to stay at in a very lovely town. The room was cozy, clean and spacious. The kitchen well equipped. Everything was thought after. I took a stroll in the street where the motel stands, worth to see the turn of the color of the trees.

This is a new, well-finished, very well equipped and sparkling clean motel. Park in front of the room with sitting area in back yard. Great location and quiet street.

Based on the photographs provided our expectations were low. In th event they were far exceeded, because the motel is new, well-finished, very well equipped and sparkling clean For example, the quality of bed linen and mattress was far above what one might expect at this price point.
One has to be realistic: Fairlie is a tiny town a long way from anywhere in the high MacKenzie country. Finding something as good in those circumstances was a real bonus, thank you and well done.
