Everything was beyond our expectations! It was beyond a motel. The room was big and clean. They provided everything we need for the stay. The heater worked very well both in the living room and bathroom. Also nice amenities with good quality shampoo, conditioner and liquid soap. They even have slippers for us. The kitchen was full with needed equipment and even Nespesso Machine. The room we stayed had spectacular mountain view with green grass and table just in front. The staffs were friendly and willing to give us recommendations. Plus, we could just walk from the motel to a nice restaurant next door.

The location was stunning, with incredible views of the mountains that created a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, making it a very comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed. The proximity to Fox Glacier made it a convenient and enjoyable stop.

The room was very clean and it was great that there was an electric frypan so we could cook a meal. The beds were comfortable and we had no problems with the wifi.

The place was in the center of the city, near to the restaurants, gas station and popular activities but also was really quiet during the night. We had a very spacious room, a clean bathroom and a well provided kitchen which even included microwave and fridge. The bed was really comfortable and the staff was really nice helping us with the late check-in.

Franz Alpine Retreat is located in the heart of the Southern Alps, a 5-minute drive from Franz Josef Town. The peaceful retreat offers free parking.
