The houses are nicely arranged in a blooming garden in a way that you have privacy and don't really see the neighbouring houses. The houses are really spacious and well equiped. The location is top, you can reach the beach by foot. Especially recommandable is the Church restaurant. Make sure to book a table in advance as it is very popular also with locals.

Whitianga Motel is central to dining ,pubs parks,museum, the beach shopping ,tours and has beautiful scenery,. It is and older motel ,but units are spacious,clean and have everything you need,it was lovely ,quiet and relaxing The owner Ross is very friendly , helpful and went out of his way to make sure you had everything you needed,he also has alot of knowledge about the area, Would highly recommend, they are Family friendly and very welcoming, we loved how close it was to everything,you could walk.Woyld stay there again

We stayed on the top floor in an apartment facing the ocean. I think it was number 8. It was perfect. We could cook our own meals in the well equipped full kitchen. It was well laid out to sleep a family of 4 and the beds were comfortable. We slept so well because of the black out blinds and lapping ocean just outside, My 22 year old daughter enjoyed using the trampoline and we both enjoyed the hot tub and having our meals on our balcony overlooking the beautiful view, The hosts were also lovely and very helpful with suggestions as to things to do. it was well located to walk and drive to different sites to visit in the surrounding areas. A nice bonus is it also had Netflix to relax at night with a movie, Because of the lack of noise and light pollution, star gazing was at its best. I would highly recommend this property.

Albert Number 6 is just 50 m from the beach, on the Pacific Coast of the Coromandel.

Close to town. Clean. The hosts were awesome and had everything set up before we got there. Including heaters. The shower was amazing. Loved the little quirks.
