The owner is super kind and helpful,which made my impression about Picton quite positive. The room is clean with a comfortable bed. Ferry terminal, supermarkets, cafes, all I wanted to go to are in a easy walk distance from the accommodation.

Location: easy walking distance to local shops, cafes, and the ferry terminals. It says it in the name, great "Harbour View". Free onsite and safe street parking. Quiet. Comfortable bed. I enjoyed the best sleep I've had in weeks. Well appointed. It had everything you need (and more)... I could have well stayed longer.

Sufficient space, had everything we needed & drove us back to the railway station at the end of our stay which was really appreciated. The staff were very helpful & cheerful, just very nice & welcoming.

I loved everything about our stay at the Gateway Motel! Our room was spacious and spotless, with a great shower. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had the best nights sleep! The location is also perfect. The owners were very welcoming and we had some really interesting conversations and learnt quite a bit about NZ. Many thanks for a lovely stay!
