Our favourite place we stayed while travelling for 3 weeks. The accommodations are absolutely perfect with everything you might need. The host was friendly and helped us with a late check in. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean and quiet. Great shower and toilet. Our room had a kitchenette with table and chairs in one end. Other end had the extra bed and next to that was a nook with two comfy chairs and a coffee table (good for playing games on). There was the master bedroom with a big wardrobe. Bathroom had sink and shower cubicle with a toilet attached. Parking was right outside unit and it is an easy location to get to as on main road. Despite being next to the main road, you don't hear the noise from the traffic, so don't let that deter you. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and could easily have stayed there for a long time. Will def return for another stay.

The host was super friendly and helpful despite a very late check in. Spatious rooms, comfortable beds. There was some noise coming from the cars passing nearby, but as soon as we went to bed, this became less and we were certainly not awoken by it.

Just a 3-minute walk from Te Koutu Lake, Cambrian Lodge Motel features a relaxing hot tub, an outdoor pool and free WiFi.

The motel might not be the most luxury one, but it is very comfortable for my whole NZ trip. The host was very helpful and even help us in dry up our plenty of clothes. There even a pool at the back of the motel, but we are too tired to get wet. The facilities and equipment provided are most needed and useful. We are very happy with this short stay.

Captains Quarters Motor Inn is located in a quiet area, just a short walk into the Town Centre with many restaurants, cafes and shops. It offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi.

Location was excellent for us, walking distance to grocery, coffee shop with breakfast and lunch, even pharmacy and doctor
