Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.

Nostalgic motel, operated by nice friendly people. It's clean, and comfortable. I loved the Purple Martins that started up my morning with their cheery rattles and throaty chirping. The Martin house was just outside the door in front of the motel. I would stay here again

Clean and mostly quiet, it is off the beaten path and has a nostalgic appeal. Very nice and helpful owners. The lake view and benches outside the rooms are a wonderful perk. Best motel I have stayed at!

We wanted to have some real motel experience - so we got it fully in a good way, we were happy. It was clean for us, and everything was ok. Staff was helpful! Wifi was working well and fast! Parking next to your door - perfect!

Quiet clean safe motel with a perfect dog walking park across the street. It’s my new go to between Chicago/Austin stay over spot. Coffee maker, fridge, microwave & nice shower.

Very nice older traditional motel. It is nostalgic. It reminds you of how hotels were years ago. They have added retro looking microwaves fridges and stuff like that.
The location is very nice located next to a big fishing lake.
