Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.

Loved the fact that we were staying in a throwback to an earlier era when Americans were discovering the delights of automobiles and better paved roads. If you need all the amenities that come with modern motels the Wigwams probably aren't for you. However if you enjoy supporting historic preservation , a quirky 1937 piece of Americana, a comfortable room and friendly staff you definitely have to stay at the Historic Wigwam Motel #2.

Unique, cozy accommodations in an historic motel. Everything you need for a short stay. Good location close to Mammoth Caves as well as other caves in the area. Owners offered a short history of the village when checking in. Quiet overnight. Nice large area for kids to play. WiFi in room.

The motel is convenient for my business travels between Alabama and Chicago. It is close to the interstate and local restaurants. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is an older one, but it has been updated and is kept very clean. The price is excellent. This was my second stay, and there will undoubtedly be more.
