Really enjoyed this hotel - we prefer staying in smaller hotels with some character, and this one fits the bill. Room was huge, with all required amenities, including a fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and TV. Staff were excellent and very responsive: our toilet malfunctioned overnight and as soon as we reported it to the manager he came up and fixed it. Large window has a privacy shade where you can still see out, but others cannot see in, which was nice, as there are colorful flower boxes and plants outside on the railings. Location was fairly quiet, for the area, and you can easily walk to several stores and eateries. There are some parking spots under cover, which was nice, as it rained overnight.

Typical basic Motel. But the rooms were large, clean, the bed comfortable, the shower hot. It was cool when we were there so can't comment about the air con.

It's a nice older (1940s) motel from the bygone days when Garvey Avenue was US 60-70-99. There aren't too many of these mom n' pop places around anymore, but this motel still serves travelers well. The room was very updated with new bath fixtures and hard floors. Secure keycard door locks. AC blew nice and cold. Refrigerator in room. The manager accommodated an early check-in request which was greatly appreciated, and was very helpful. Rather quiet for being so close to I-10. Easy freeway access (depending on traffic congestion) to area destinations. Short drive to many food options. If I'm not in my big pickup truck and I'm not traveling with someone with accessibility needs, I'd definitely stay here again.
