United StatesThe kids loved this & so did I. My father had worked for the Boston & Maine Railroad, so I thought this sounded like a neat idea. There were full size beds for the adults & bunks for the kids. Everyone enjoyed the atmosphere. It was clean & there was TV, small fridge, Microwave & coffee maker in room. We found some nice items in the gift shop. We had dinner & breakfast at the Restaurant. Restaurant was a dining car with tables. Food & service was great. Everyone was friendly & nice. They have a petting zoo with horses, llama, pig & goat. It is Omish country so there was horse drawn carriages. There was a book in the room showing things in the area & there also was pamphlets in the gift shop. Was on our way home from visiting with family & the kids had to get back for school. I wouldn't mind going back & staying longer to do things in the area. I took lots of pictures. Even got up to take picture at sunrise. Beautiful area.

United StatesThis is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It is close to the town center but surrounded by fields, wherever you look. It is a fantastic option to truly disconnect and enjoy the peace and tranquility that this place offers. A three-minute drive is the Kitchen Kettle Village, an open-air shopping complex where you can enjoy in the views, learn more about the local culture, and feed the goats! The Intercourse town center. I also recommend visiting the amish farm and house which is 12 minutes away by car. You will love it! The hotel is newly renovated, parquet flooring, clean bathroom... large TV, fridge, microwave... everything you need. They offer coffee in the room and you can park without problem. It's a great hotel, you won't regret it.

United StatesThe breakfast was gourmet and super delicious! The location was perfect !! It was my husband's birthday, and he wanted to get the free Birthday meal at the Shady Maple Smorgasbord. He's a complete foodie so we took a long weekend so we could do breakfast, lunch and dinner there. I booked the closest lodging to the restaurant....literally 5 minutes away! The sheets were sooo soft and there was a big comfy reading chair right by the window. The entire staff was extraordinarily kind and helpful. A walk around the property lead us to a to a beautiful lighted wooded grotto.... magical!!! I forgot how nice it was to just back up to a room and unload our stuff. We will definitely go back!!

With tax included we did that. It is a older place so think motel. It was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast in the lobby was basic. Small microwave and fridge in room. They were clean.
