It’s hard to pinpoint the precise reason for being fond of a particular hotel. Call it atmosphere, or character perhaps. For me, this hotel is a sweet reminder of the way things were long ago, when it was common for hotels to provide temporary homes for ordinary people, as well as providing for travelers. This has to be one of the best motels we have stayed in. It was exceptional. Lots of room, very comfortable, absolutely spotless, everything had been thought of. A very quiet location , and an easy drive to a selection of restaurants.

I'm glad I found out before I arrived that we were to check in at a neighbor hotel. It certainly saved time. The rooms were very small but it sufficed for what we needed. We used the sofa bed and the kids said it was comfortable. They thought the sheets were damp but it was just the humidity from being on the coast. The sleeping areas and the bathroom was clean. I was particularly impressed by how up to date the bathroom was.
