Featuring an outdoor pool, Shakespeare Motel is centrally located just a 5-minute walk from Mackay Entertainment and Convention Center. Staff were friendly. A great option close to the entertainment centre. It had a microwave, fridge, cooktop. Was very quiet. Old rooms but very clean.

I love the level of effort they go to for pets. Providing cleaning products for any accidents, Treats and a bowl of water. Rooms are clean and the large carport is wonderful for those very hot or, in our case, very very wet day.

The Marco Polo Mackay is 5 minutes’ drive from the Ooralea Racecourse. Mackay Airport, Melaleuca Forest and Central Queensland University Mackay are each a 10-minute drive away. Very clean and well presented!

Rooms were way bigger than I expected and extremely clean, beds super comfy and nice touch with the complimentary continental breakfast. Loved the outlook from my little balcony. Nice and close to town and super handy having the pub and bistro next door where I had the best crispy altlantic salmon I've had in a long time. Will definitely be back!
