The location was excellent. The set up reminded me of the motels we stayed in when I was a kid. The staff were very personable.

Localisation in city center with free parking, clean nice room and very good breakfast

The apartment is spatious and very functional. A lot of kitchenwear, incl a good coffee machine, CDs, books, etc. The deck on the ocean is beautiful, at high tide we were regularly visited by a couole of Grey seals, but it was a nice spot to look at birds (Eiders with chicks, Artic terns, various gulls incl glaucous, redshank, starling, etc etc). The position is great to visit the central/western part of the peninsula.

Location. Not too many places to stay. Has its own kitchen which everyone shares. Helps with food budget. Free parking. Good wifi

The cottage is cute from the outside, easy to find, linen and towels provided. It was clean Free parking spot and free wifi

Kikjufell is close and on the road there is a high elevation parking spot where really easy to spot whales with binoculars. gas station and fish and chips little street food vendor is next door. And it has a sandy beach behind the wave breaker rocks.

We had a nice stay. The rooms and radiators were a little bit cold, which was surprising giving all Iceland geothermal energy. The kitchen was fine. Nice public shared living area. Quick and good information from the owner via the booking app. About 5 km. away is a nice public hot swimming pool. Beds OK. Cleanness OK Very good and free parking facilities. All in all good value for money. We liked it.

A comfortable basic pension. Clean, small rooms with bathroom. Breakfast was very tasty, a good choice of bread, skyr, yoghurt, meat etc. Good coffee. Very nice personnel. The guesthouse is remotely located and the is no grocery store nearby, one need to take it into consideration.
