Host and owner Kerri was very welcoming and helpful in planning our stay in Te Anau. She made Doubtful Sound cruises reservations for us, pointed out great sites and hikes on the way to Milford Sound, and recommended great restaurants. Rooms very clean and are well appointed for road trip travelers including a laundry for guests to use to freshen things up. Location was convenient to walk to town center to groceries, restaurants and shopping.

Very friendly reception, started with some lovely cookies. Rooms were spacious and clean. Kitchen was well equipped too. WiFi was a bit sporadic at times, but was manageable.

The room was cosy and clean, felt simple but it was exactly what we needed for a night in Te Anau. Just a short walking distance from a nice lake walkway and bird sanctuary, and a few minutes drive from town. The manager also kept our luggage safe all day after checkout during our trip to Te Anau.
