Whispering Sands Beachfront Motel is situated on Waikanae Beach, just a 10-minute walk from Gisborne city centre. Really nice facility, modern and with fantastic view. I would have stayed longer had I known that. Peaceful but close to town center.

White Heron Motor Lodge is just 2 minutes' drive from the centre of Gisborne and 7 minutes' drive from the beach and the airport. Very nice staff. Great water pressure and temperature. Great wifi. Beds comfortable.

Located in the centre of Te Hapara, this motel offers a children’s playground for the whole family to enjoy. Free WiFi is provided. Easy to find, and there are stores and restaurants nearby. The main attractions are also not far away. The owner/manager is helpful, nice and knowledgeable about Gisborne. Our room was a good size, and it had everything you need.
