Whispering Sands Beachfront Motel is situated on Waikanae Beach, just a 10-minute walk from Gisborne city centre. Really nice facility, modern and with fantastic view. I would have stayed longer had I known that. Peaceful but close to town center.

White Heron Motor Lodge is just 2 minutes' drive from the centre of Gisborne and 7 minutes' drive from the beach and the airport. Very clean units, well presented and on a par with most overseas facilities. Thank you.

Ocean Beach Motel offers comfortable accommodation in Wainui Beach, just 5 minutes’ drive from the Gisborne city centre. Our host, Caro, was super nice and gave us a great room and restaurant recommendations. Room was large and comfy. The terrace at the back of the room was a nice surprise.

Perfect retreat from spending hours and hours up at Gizzy Hospital. Staff were really accommodating and caring about our situation. Convenient location perfect for hospital( 2 mins) and same distance to Lytton West shops.

BKs Palm Court Motor Lodge is a 5-minute drive from Gisborne Beach and Gisborne’s town centre. It offers barbecue facilities, free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi access. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Would definately recommend to anyone who needs to stay in that part of town

The staff member on duty for my stay was so friendly and helpful, she gave me lots of tips for the local area. Super comfy bed and room, and very clean toilet/shower facilities. The kitchen and shared spaces were also really well kept. Everything about my stay was charming and enjoyable.

Located in the centre of Te Hapara, this motel offers a children’s playground for the whole family to enjoy. Free WiFi is provided. Easy to find, and there are stores and restaurants nearby. The main attractions are also not far away. The owner/manager is helpful, nice and knowledgeable about Gisborne. Our room was a good size, and it had everything you need.
