White Heron Motor Lodge is just 2 minutes' drive from the centre of Gisborne and 7 minutes' drive from the beach and the airport. Room was clean, bed comfy, shower and spa very nice. And the lady at reception was very friendly. This is how all accommodations should be.

Ocean Beach Motel offers comfortable accommodation in Wainui Beach, just 5 minutes’ drive from the Gisborne city centre. Perfect about everything. Very good choice for vacation especially about escape from city :) Definitely come back again.

SUCH a lovely stay here! Rooms were spacious, very clean. Staff were so so friendly! Wifi was great, no issues with that. About 10 min drive into the main area of Gisborne. Would definitely stay here again!

Captain Cook Motor Lodge offers modern ground-floor studios and apartments with free Wi-Fi access. Free on-site parking is available. All rooms offer a TV with over 50 cable channels. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Lovely private seating area outside each room. Laundry was free and there were many machines plus an outdoor clothes line. Location was great, short walk to beach and park.

Tarquin was very lovely to talk to and made our stay extremely hospitable. We certainly got our moneys worth using the darts board, pool table, table tennis table and a game of chess! Will certainly recommend if you’re on the way to Gisborne

The main attractions are also not far away. The owner/manager is helpful, nice and knowledgeable about Gisborne. Our room was a good size, and it had everything you need.
