Boasting an idyllic lake front setting, Acacia Lake View Motel offers free WiFi. Some rooms feature a balcony. All have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The bathroom was spacious with a separate large jet tub. The bed was fabulous and entire room spacious. There was even an outdoor patio. This was an unexpected pleasure. The room was spotless and seemed brand new. Great location just a few minutes walk to cafes and restaurants fronting the lake. Christine and Dave were friendly and helpful. This is an exceptional accommodation.

Just 300 metres from the lakefront of Waipahihi Bay, Little Haven offers an outdoor swimming pool and a hot tub. The self-contained apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen and a flat-screen TV. Beautiful, new, lovely apartment. Best we've stayed in while in NZ

Situated beside the town center of Taupo and opposite a park, eMotel offers contemporary, boutique accommodation with lake views from each room. Guests enjoy free unlimited WiFi. The place was much bigger than expected and spacious. Great for us travellers with large luggages. Clean apartment with a good variety and quality of amenities provided. Check in was seamless - Michelle even let us drop our bags when we reached way before the check in time, and let us check in early so we could get to explore the rest of the town. Love the way the door is locked - so fuss free!! Facilities were good, there’s washing machine, induction stove with pots and pans, kitchenware and complimentary Nespresso capsules and coffee and tea. I also love their hot chocolate!!! (bloom) ☕️ Love that there is a backyard area which we can sun/dry off our clothes with the drying rack in the room. There’s also hair dryer, sufficient hangers, iron and ironing board and TV with YouTube connection. Parking space was very sufficient, great porch and quite near the beach (walking distance to the hot water beach and also to shops, restaurants and supermarkets) Overall great experience and would highly recommend this place to couples and families looking to stay in Taupo. Located on the shores of Lake Taupo, Anchorage Resort offers rooms with free unlimited WiFi access and views of either the pool or the lake. Very nice and functional unit, great view of Lake Taupo. The owner was very pleasant and we appreciate how we was able to accommodate a last minute request with our dates due to closure of the Tongariro Alpine crossing for a few days.
