Right on the main thoroughfare so easy to find. Nice beds, furniture and very nice walk-in shower. Even had a jacuzzi tub but never had a chance to use it.

Celtic Motel is nestled in amongst the sunny Horowhenua township of Foxton, giving it a hint of 'country' and ensuring it is very peaceful and quiet, yet it is conveniently situated just 400m off SH... The neighborhood itself is quiet and pleasant. Since it's not a bustling city, we were worried about where to eat, but the owner kindly explained the neighborhood to us, and we werer able to enjoy a delicious pizza. The convenience store closes early, so make sure to stock up on water and other supplies beforehand.

Just 3 minutes’ drive from The Square in Palmerston North, Drovers Motor Inn offers self-contained accommodation with flat-screen satellite TV, a DVD player. Close to some restaurants and supermarkets it was immaculate and the staff were very friendly

Kauri Court Motel and Apartments is a 10-minute walk from Palmerston North town centre and 6 km from Palmerston North International Airport. The room is very clean, the owner is pretty friendly, chose this motel is the best decision I made in this journey.

Situated only 4 minutes’ walk from central Ohakune, The Central Motel & Lodge features an outdoor hot tub. All studios and apartments include self-catering facilities and electric blankets. The place was big and tidy. There was a real attention to detail, you feel welcome. It's also perfectly located, only a few minutes away from the tourist info centre and supermarket.
