Situated on the beachfront in Tutukaka and boasting a garden, The Sands Motel has free WiFi throughout the property. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. All rooms include a patio with garden views. We were in the area specifically to dive with a local dive company to Poor Knights Islands. This location was only 5 minutes away from the dive shop and had a beautiful small beach right in front of the property. The living area was very spacious, 2 bedrooms, everything was clean and functional. Good kitchen supplies and a large deck out front.

The accommodation was stunning—an enormous, beautifully decorated, stylish apartment with everything spotlessly clean. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were extremely satisfied with our stay and were genuinely saddened that we couldn’t stay longer. If we visit New Zealand again, we will definitely return and stay here. Once again, we thank the hosts for everything they did for us. We highly recommend this accommodation to everyone.

The property was so beautiful, so modern, and had everything we could have hoped for. The staff was kind and we had access to more than we could have hoped for.
