Stopforths Motel features spacious and luxurious accommodation just 450 metres from the centre of Hokitka. Opening in 2018, guests can admire the Southern Alps views or the stars on an astronomy tour.... The room was very clean and the stay was wonderful! The staff were not only professional but also had a great sense of humor, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Offering views of the mountain, Karamea River Motels is located in Karamea in the West Coast Region. Free private parking is available on site. All units feature a seating and dining area. I really regret that we had only booked this location for one night. Karamea is a little bit off the beaten track and sees less tourism than the rest of the island. It's exactly that extra quiet that I really enjoyed. On the roads, in the parks, but at the accommodation as well. There were plenty of Weka's in the backyard and you need a Weka guard (a high wooden plank) in front of your door to stop them from barging in. The sheep, llama's and deer in the front yard are a joy to watch and they'll occasionally walk up to the edge of your cabin grounds to say hello. And of course not to mention the house itself. Beautiful. Living room had a higher ceiling, giving it an even more spacious feeling than it already was. Great place, great houses. LIke I said, wish I could've stayed another night.

Extremely friendly greeting. very accommodating. Units very spacious and quiet as we were well off the main road which is what I requested.

Situated opposite the Aquatic Centre, Westland Recreation Centre and Hockey Turf, this 4-star Motor Inn offers motel units with free Wi-Fi. There is an outdoor seating area and guest BBQ facilities. Large room with kitchenette was very comfortable. Short walking distance to a good restaurant and bar. Grocery store is a couple of blocks away. Parking in front of our room door. Very friendly and helpful host!

58 On Cron is located in the foothills of the Southern Alps. We are just 5 minutes from village centre and the Franz Josef Glacier is a 10-minute drive away. It was a perfect stay for our family. Apt was very cosy, clean and well equipped. Sheryl and husband had well informed of important things to note such as where to shop, fuel, etc. prior to arrival; welcomed us and gave us wonderful recommendation for nearby POI‘s. It’s a long way from Switzerland but it’s in our favorite place to stay and will definitely come back if we ever visit NZ again.
