Great location, a short drive to the central part of town. Our room had a lake view, which you can enjoy from a covered and heated balcony, which gives it a plus if you go in winter. The room itself was really comfortable and every detail was well thought out. The spa pool was divine and the place was an oasis to relax. I'll definitely stay there again.

The host was very friendly and helpful. Seeing my elderly mom, she made arrangement to change another unit which is more accessible. The delicious handmade cookies is a nice personal touch.

Just 300 metres from the lakefront of Waipahihi Bay, Little Haven offers an outdoor swimming pool and a hot tub. The self-contained apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen and a flat-screen TV. Worth every penny spent. It was really nice property with swimming pool, spa pool, small kids playground, table tennis and pool table.

Everything, was a really cosy room, staff were so helpful and location was perfect! And the view from your room is kind of just incredible!

Located on the shores of Lake Taupo, Anchorage Resort offers rooms with free unlimited WiFi access and views of either the pool or the lake. Perfect location and the room was actually a suite! Beautifully manicured property and resort amenities. We had only a short time there so didn’t get to use the pool area, but it was inviting. Would definitely stay there again.

The Reef Resort Motel offers self-contained accommodation on the edge of the Lake Taupo. The property features an outdoor heated freshwater pool and a thermal pool with a hot tub. Excellent location next to the lake and cycle/ walking paths. Friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed the spa bath, too. 5 minute drive into town and approximately a 15 minute walk to the Sailing Club, which is in a top spot too and do great pizzas.
