Just 300 metres from the lakefront of Waipahihi Bay, Little Haven offers an outdoor swimming pool and a hot tub. The self-contained apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen and a flat-screen TV. We liked the room we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom family room, there were lots of things on site for the kids to enjoy, especially the pool. The hosts could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. The Little Haven was close enough to everything we wanted, including a takeaway and a small grocery shop. All of the facilities were modern and new. A great place to stay at a reasonable price if you are in Taupo.

Situated only 4 minutes’ walk from central Ohakune, The Central Motel & Lodge features an outdoor hot tub. All studios and apartments include self-catering facilities and electric blankets. Everything, was a really cosy room, staff were so helpful and location was perfect! And the view from your room is kind of just incredible!

Situated beside the town center of Taupo and opposite a park, eMotel offers contemporary, boutique accommodation with lake views from each room. Guests enjoy free unlimited WiFi. The place was much bigger than expected and spacious. Great for us travellers with large luggages. Clean apartment with a good variety and quality of amenities provided. Check in was seamless - Michelle even let us drop our bags when we reached way before the check in time, and let us check in early so we could get to explore the rest of the town. Love the way the door is locked - so fuss free!! Facilities were good, there’s washing machine, induction stove with pots and pans, kitchenware and complimentary Nespresso capsules and coffee and tea. I also love their hot chocolate!!! (bloom) ☕️ Love that there is a backyard area which we can sun/dry off our clothes with the drying rack in the room. There’s also hair dryer, sufficient hangers, iron and ironing board and TV with YouTube connection. Parking space was very sufficient, great porch and quite near the beach (walking distance to the hot water beach and also to shops, restaurants and supermarkets) Overall great experience and would highly recommend this place to couples and families looking to stay in Taupo.
