Dom Gości Opactwa Benedyktynów is housed in a Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec, 12 km from central Kraków. It offers comfortable rooms with free internet access and a private bathroom. Beautiful place to stay in the oldest monastery in Poland (it was a Catholic monastery even before Poland was Christian). Majestic views as monastery rises above Vistula River below. This is where Kings and Queens spent the night before entering Krakow. Good Polish food for breakfast, lunch and dinner at hotel. Cafe, store, bookstore, restaurant, museum, and Church within a few steps of hotel. The monks make beer that is one of the best you will drink. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Good elevator and easy access to room.

I arrived at the motel and nobody let me in. And no one was interested that I already paid the money. Was a phone number on the entry door. Made a call. All I got was that the motel is closed.

Very well stocked kitchen with cutlery ,fridge,few plates,cups and mugs, kettle, coffee, sugar,tea and bottles of water on arrival. It has dining area separate from bedroom, very comfy beds and clean. Bathroom was very spacious and clean. The young man on reception didn't speak much English,but we managed through the google translate. He was polite and room was ready even before official check in hours . Location of the hotel is quite far for walking from oswiecim town, but if you driving,its only short drive. We went to visit energylandia park, so it suited us perfectly, only about 10 minutes from it. I will definitely book it again as im planning to go to energylandia next year .

It's very easy to get to this motel which is actually an annex to the petrol station cum restaurant where the friendly staff is available 24/7 and where breakfast is served - definitely worth getting! The rooms are big and generously equipped, very clean and proper. The beds are very comfortable. Good wifi and private parking for guests in front of each room.
