The staff was just great, the kindness and the way they tried to accomodate any request made them the most warm and kind staff we have ever met in our three weeks trip in Japan! My wife is vegan so she could not eat the same meal with me but they were happy to offer her what they could at the table (beverages) while I was eating. The room is a bit outdated but to be honest is not a big problem. The meals were just fantastic, little to add here. High quality good, great amount, every dish was explained at its best. I would defined recommend a stay here!

There were so many great aspects about the property including the spacious and modern lobby, bathhouses, and views of Mt. Fuji, but by far the most exceptional and memorable part of the stay was the STAFF! Every staff member we encountered was so kind and helpful — they made a significant effort to speak English and make the international travelers comfortable.

The property sits really close to the lake, and you can see the lake and mountain on each side. Breakfast is great and offers many good options. Futons are comfortable and we had a good night sleep. The staff are very nice and helpful, picked us up from the bus station and there was a shuttle back when we checked out. There’s an onsen which I used alone, and was a good experience. Good value for money

breakfast is good, not mind blowingly good but good and plentiful. Room is very clean and very bright. I like the cleaninless of the room. And private onsen is nice too. Unfortunately there is not much amenities in the hotel. If this is a different ryokan (japanese hotel), they may have other public baths where you can try different baths with different views which makes staying in the hotel more amenable. We're bored staying in the hotel with nothing to do. So we are kind of forced to explore the area.

The hotel provides full Japanese ryokan experience! The view on both sides (lake or Mt. Fuji) is breathtaking. It is a good getaway place from Tokyo for 1-2 nights. The hotel provides the option to book for 1 hour a family/private onsen room with views on Mt. Fuji, this is an experience I will not forget.

The staff was very welcoming and took amazing care of us. The meals we had were amazing as well. Some of the most fancy and delicious food I've ever eaten. Our waiter Aki-san was amazing and very friendly. We had an amazing service by him. This was by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The room with the private onsen was totally worth it. Room had amazing facilities and the service was exceptional. Highly recommended this ryokan. The absolute highlight of our trip.

This luxurious Ryokan was the perfect getaway from busy Tokyo and an excellent spa-retreat after a long hike in one. The staff spoke good English and was very helpful. We would highly recommend booking a private dinner in your room for at least one night where you'll get overwhelmed by the enormous diversity of the Japanese cuisine. We booked a private Onsen for 1 hour where we could catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji, but the public Onsen and rooftop footbath are already well worth this Ryokan experience.

This Hotel also provided FREE shuttle service from 3pm - 7pm from Lake Kawaguchiko Bus Station, and morning Shuttle to bus station from 8am - 10am. This Hotel is located just near to Yagizaki Park, which is a great spot for photos of Mt Fuji, strongly recommend. Staff were excellent, parking easy, entire property very clean and well kept. Dinner served in your room is an experience in itself, and of the ryokans we visited it was easily the tastiest one. Being that this is my first time staying at a ryokan, this one exceeded my expectations. The rooms were very clean and cozy, having a private onsen just outside of the room is the main highlight of the stay. The onsen is right outside on the deck with trees surrounding it, it creates a soothing and tranquil experience. We arranged a pick-up from Kawaguchiko station, the staff are amazing and friendly, communication wasn't a problem as some of them are fluent in English.
