Definitely my best stay in Japan. The hotel is beautiful, the location is so peaceful and the service is top-notch. The staff is so polite and friendly. The food was also amazing and I really felt that I was experiencing true Japanese cuisine.

The rooms are exquisite, very spacious and newly decorated. The onsen were also terrific, an incredibly authentic experience with robes also provided in the rooms. Lastly, the food was incredible. Breakfast and dinner with so many courses at such high quality they almost make the room feel like it’s free. Lastly I need to say an incredible thank you to the staff who went out of their way to help us when our friend broke his leg out running. They made sure we had a wheelchair and even drove us to the top of the mountain in order to have a simpler time accessing the bus to asahikawa

One of the best accommodations in Japan. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Requesting cleaning, towel change and do not disturb is one of their best systems. The sento is great with options, inside and outside rooftop sections, with free ice creams any popsicle, just outside. The staff is insanely helpful, I left my card in my room and they just helped with no charge and I left my luggage with them early and they moved it to my room for me. Plus, just across the street is the bus that goes right to the airport. The stop is before Asahikawa Station and you are garunteed a good seat when you have to fly out

Going to takesagoonsen is like visiting the Japan in Showa time, but with modern communication ease. The staff are helpful and manage to talk in simple English so that it makes our stay very convenient. They also have a nostaglic shop and game corner at the 1st floor and I am 100% sure everyone will like it, from kids to grandparents. The onsen is fantastic. The hotel caters for everyone's need to explore the Showa Japan culture.

Common area is great, very cosy. We reached on a heavy rain afternoon and was able to enjoy the common area facilities before official check-in. The onsen area is big and clean. Kitchen is very clean and well-stocked. Location of hostel is very near to the Daisetsuzan National Park.

Great hotel, very clean, very well maintained. Our Japanese style room was spacious and comfortable. The communal kitchen was one of the best we've ever seen. Spotlessly clean and well-equiped. Free coffee and tea for breakfast and also toast with jam :) Very pleasant onsen.

Reasonably priced with hot springs. Close to Asahidake ropeway. Although we were on a no-meal plan, we were able to buy easy-to-cook food from the shop for dinner, and two pieces of toast and coffee/tea were freely provided for each of us for breakfast. The staff are friendly and helpful.
