It was a beautiful and innovative architect designed living space. Views were amazing and the hot water tub a lot of fun. Generous supply of complimentary drinks and snacks and extremely helpful reception were notable.

Great location for the Tenmonkan district and getting to Sakurajima island (10 min walk to ferry). The host was also very nice and welcoming.

Beautiful house with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay for several days. A real entertainer's home with nice little touches, like a charcoal burner room, kotatsu in the living room, guitar and entertainment system. There was also a washing machine, full bath, BBQ outside, and full kitchen with condiments. If I am in Mt Aso again I will stay here.

We liked the crab buffet and drinks. The hotel is large and many accessories. Though we can't see Aso mountaun this time due to Typhoon, the view from restaurant and room would be beautiful.

I was not fully sure what to expect and I was so happy I chose this lovely place. Magic place within the city that once you go in, you find a wonderful special place. The big wooden door are opened and you enter into the past. all is wood, Japanese style, very well decor and design. staff are amazing! they will do all they can to help, serve and welcome you. The room we had was in the main building, Japanese style, tatami area that was ready for teatime, heated, just perfect. There are public onsens and 2 privet ones. all seems very nice to enjoy them. we did not eat in house this time. We only had one night, and I would Easly be happy to stay more. we loved this wonderful place.
