The buffet was awesome! So many options to choose from. Will certainly consider coming back again. The onsens were fantastic. There is an indoor one and two outdoor onsens (one with shelter and milky water; while the other open-air with great view of the bay)

The room is a real ryokan experience, tatami mat and futon were super cozy and clean, the Onsen was a little small but it works for the tired body!

Nakanoshima is an idyllic location; the island is the perfect place to relax and leave all your tensions behind. The personnel, facilities, and service ensure your stay is spotless and exceeds all expectations. We only stayed here for a night, but I wish I could stay for two or three more.

I went there because of the dinner. Other reviewers had recommended it. They were right. It was fantastic. Local specialities including tuna collar. And the way the food got presented was really fancy. Like a coarse meal.with the chef explaining me different sake. Moreover, originally I had booked a double bed room, even as I travel as single, cos this was only available bedroom according to booking. With a little chat back and forth, they were offering me a cheaper room. So nice and helpful! Onsen was good and clean. I did not book breakfast.

Beautiful resort at the edge of town which makes it very quiet. Very clean and almost everyone of the staff was friendly. The onsen was easy enough to understand for non-japanese speaking guests (do read the general social rules on the internet for onsen please). I did not make use of the restaurant so I cannot judge. The bed was good and the thick curtains made sure it stayed very dark in the room.

It's good to have a private hot spring in the room. The front desk and restaurant staffs were very nice, and the Japanese style meals were very rich.

We loved this resort. The family room was beautiful, designed like a house and with plenty of space. There were beautiful views from every room, including the bathroom. Dinner and breakfast were both buffets with plenty of options and delicious food, I highly recommend including those. The staff were incredibly helpful and we easily booked time in one of the private onsens. This was superb! The water was incredible and the surroundings were beautiful, so easy to relax and enjoy.

The hotel staff really went extra miles to help us. Due to an accident, our train was delayed for one hour , we missed the prearranged pickup, nevertheless, when we called the hotel, they immediately sent the bus to pick us up from JR station. The food is really wonderful, the waitresses were very attentive and thoughtful. Onsen is really beautiful. From outdoor Onsen, you could see ocean and sakura, there is no better combination imo🤗

This is a really sweet place. The common areas are kept very clean, and the room is simple, but comfortable. The family who run the hotel are very nice and helpful. The private onsen bath is wonderful after a chilly day walking in the mountains. Location is very handy to the station, bus stop, shopping street & a supermarket.
