The room is cozy and the onsen is very nice. Most importantly, all staff were helpful especially when I lost my car key. They arranged a car to pick me back and on the next day, took me to find it. Luckily, it was found and I was so blessed to choose this ryokan. Highly recommended!

Kutsurogian is a quiet traditional Japanese-style hotel behind the mountains with wonderful indoor and outdoor door onsen. Sitting in front of the room window, you can enjoy the spectacular snow view. The hotel is close to the nearby station,It will take 5mins to muikamarchi station. There are so many snow resorts nearby, it is very comfortable for relaxing in the hotel ‘s onsen, and then have a taste of the local food of the hotel after skiing. It is especially worth mentioning that the staff of the hotel is particularly enthusiastic, offering to provide shuttle services to the nearby station, snow resorts…When we need to go shopping, they also warmly send us to there. When we left, the staff gave my child two bathrobes.

Wow! What an amazing experience, this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! Convenient location right next to the train station and a short walk to the chair lift, makes this hotel an ideal location for a short ski trip from Tokyo. The rooms were large, modern and spacious with lovely traditional details throughout, and great views across the mountains. The Onsen was beautiful and the whole hotel was very clean and exceptionally maintained. After finishing in the Onsen, the complimentary ice cream was a lovely added bonus. Would recommend to anyone visiting Japan for a luxury stay for a short weekend skiing!

The location of the hotel is excellent: it is within 3-minute walk from the train station. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, very clean, and quiet. We are very pleasantly surprised by its meal services. The hotel has excellent breakfast and dinner: both meals offer a great variety of cuisines (both western and Japanese); the Japanese option is very good. The outdoor onsen is great. The staff are a bonus: very friendly and eager to help.

Excellent services, they really make you feel like a VIP to the hotel, they welcome you to your room with welcome cake and drink of your choice and do the checking in the dining room of your room, a big thank you to everyone that served us, all of you did more than a great job, amenities from ferragamo and la mer, good breakfast, close to a number of ski resorts, walking to the hotel form the station takes 5-10 mins only depending on how much you are carrying, they can send a shuttle to pick you up if you call them anyways, the room is huge with private indoor and outdoor onsen.

Everything!!! From the moment you arrive until you leave, the owner & staff are at hand to greet, assist, etc. There are only 8 comfortable rooms in this ryokan with in-room onsen and there is also a shared onsen which were very well maintained and clean! Owner is a certified Sake Master & Wine Sommelier who personally managed our (opted) sake pairing excellently with our superb Michelin ⭐️dinner. Thank you! We will definitely look forward to future visits to this ryokan!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The staff are experts in hospitality and friendly. They arranged a shuttle to pick us up from the local station. The Japanese style room is so inviting and comfortable. The dinner was so good I'm speechless. The wine and sake pairings were fantastic. Soaking in your own hot spring after dinner, while taking in the view is divine. If you have the chance to stay in this area, put yourself in their care. You won't regret it.
