Memorable stay in an exquisite property. Dinner and breakfast were of a very high standard served in the traditional way at home by a personal server. We were lucky to experience snowfall while there making the experience at the onsen even more magical.

The room was huge by Japanese standards. They have both traditional rooms and more "modern" rooms with the ryokan look but typical double beds as you may expect in a more regular hotel. Free onsen on the premises (even some private for a small fee) that were very enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and really helpful (special mention to Chihiro for her kindness). The kaiseki dinner was delicious, a true gem.

We had a group of 7 adults and 1 infant. We had breakfast twice and dinner once with the hotel, the food and presentation were absolutely amazing and definitely something I would recommend. The Onsen was very special, they have an outdoor and indoor option, both being very nice facilities. We booked a Japanese style rooms and Western style rooms and both were delightful. The staff were very helpful. Overall a wonderful experience.
