The room gave us a lovely view of snowy mountains and the private room for dining gave us a nice view of the lake. I would recommend staying here and hope to go back at a later date

Guests also enjoy access to the sauna and hot spring bath, as well as the public bath and open-air bath. food was excellent with local specialties. staff did their best to translate and explain in english. free midnight ramen was a nice surprise. be sure to organize shuttle service from yuzawa in advance and be aware that currently many connections to the south and west are restricted due to heavy rain damage.

Sayaka speaks very good English & was able to help with all our enquiries. The lodge is only a few minutes drive from Tazawako Ski Resort. The meals were wonderful. The traditional tatami style room was extremely comfortable & the Onsen was simply perfect.

They kindly adapted to my request to have a park-facing room. Free hot spring comes with free popsicles and free washing machine service (!!!!) Free late night snack (a decent bowl of soup noodles).
