Open from September 2019, only 150 metres from JR Hakata Train Station, Miyako Hotel Hakata offers stylish rooms with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. The hotel is very well connected to Hakata Station via underground walkway. The direct elevators to the rooms are literally located in the station’s basement floor so all you need is your keycard and viola. The hotel is very new, modern and has very good sized rooms with spacious bathrooms and great amenities. The TV also has Apple TV so you can watch your favorite shows without worrying for bedtime or while eating in the room. There are a lot of food options (in and around Hakata Station), a Starbucks next door, two Lawsons and a Family Mart just around the corners. The staff were amazing and polite and spoke very good English so you don’t have to worry about the language barrier. Thank you for the amazing service and treatment.

Located in Chikushino, 500 metres from Buso-ji Temple, Daimaru Besso has a number of amenities including a bar and free WiFi. This hotel is a historic establishment that has been around for decades. However, it has been well-maintained and preserved, making it a worthwhile place to visit.

Good location, one of my favourite hotels to stay when I am visiting Fukuoka. Like the onsen and the easy access to Hakata Station. Staff is also very helpful.

Just a 1-minute walk from Gion Subway Station, the Dormy Inn Hakata Gion offers comfortable rooms with free WiFi access. It features public hot spring baths, a sauna and a restaurant. I love everything about dormy inn. It is by far the best hotel ove stayed. It has everything I need. It is convenient. It is very well kept and clean.

The raw food was good. The dinner specials for guests staying there were good. Not enough hot foods. The non-English speaking staff were very helpful and accommodating with me and my translation app. The paths throughout the whole island were for the most part paved. Excellent views of wildlife, foliage, and slow walks through small villages. The beach was good for combing.

Located in Fukuoka, 1 km from Ohori Park, Fukuoka Chapel Coconuts Hotel Ipolani (Adult Only) features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. Away from the busy fukuoka center, corky but somehow quiet nice facility, deceiving image from a love hotel, close to Ohori park and many “local” Izakaya 🏮 where we could just walk in without reservation and find friendly hosts and guests willing to talk to. Spacious room, nice bathroom settings, unlimited options to order costumes and food to browse for fun 😉 We were able to leave our luggage before checkin to explore the city lightly.
