Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Guests can find a private hot spring bath and Japanese restaurant on site. Extremely clean and comfortable, I had a room with private oven semi open to the outside, which was awesome. Very nice room well equipped. Staff members are nice, very professional and speak English, same for the owner. I highly recommend to have dinner there, it was delicious. Location is great, around 5 minutes from the main attractions of kusatsu. I would definitely stay there again.

The guesthouse was newly renovated & everything like new. We booked 4pax stay & the rooms condition is excellent. The staff service is good. We love it very much the onsen facility on this guesthouse. Breakfast provided were excellent. Nevertheless, this guesthouse is highly recommend during your visit to Kusatsu Onsen.

Many different stuff in one meal. You don't need a lunch actually. Breakfast is also quite loaded. Also they leave small Japanese sweets for afternoon :) Great ryokan experience, very comfortable beds, yukatas are very stylish and comfortable. View is amazing. The region is very nice for hiking.

The space was clearly remodeled recently and so the rooms are super nice, clean, and it's clear that the hotel has spent great attention to detail! I also really liked the ease of use of the onsen facilities. I have been to many japanese style inns and this was the most clean, orderly, and good working condition that I've encountered. I also thought it was nice that there are only 4 rooms here so it never felt busy or crowded. The staff were also all very kind and helpful. They made a great breakfast both days, with good variety of dishes and high quality of ingredients. I had a great stay and would definitely choose this hotel again!

Reception, accommodation, dinner, breakfast, hot-spring,.. etc, everything is flawless.

Located along Houshi River, Houshi Onsen Chojukan features a public hot spring bath, Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi and Japanese cuisine. A wooden building stemming from 100 years ago, the property breathes a historical atmosphere. Our fourth stay here and we are still absolutely smitten with this place. Comfortable rooms, wonderful staff, delicious food, and the best baths in the prefecture, all wrapped up in a cozy, creaky, glowing inn nestled deep in the woods.

Free WiFi is available at the entire property and JR Shibukawa Train Station is a 15-minute drive away. Absolutely fantastic. This was a big splurge for us, and to be honest we were quite nervous about the cost. As soon as we arrived the service was amazing. The room is beautiful, the hot spring as well. The evening meal was the best we had in Japan, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff attentive and kind. Simply put, if you’re like us and treating yourself - don’t hesitate to book this place, it was one of the best experiences we had in the Japan.
