There are hiking trails nearby and would love to visit again and explore more of the area around the guesthouse.

Foot bath in front of mountain view is very enjoyable, staff will kindly offer to help take pictures. Male/Female Onsen will rotate and change locations at night and day for different views and facilities. Both the dinner and breakfast buffet were terrific with the range of food provided, especially the soft serve machine and appetizers at dinner; staff were all very attentive despite the big amount of people at dining time. Shuttle bus service is also very convenient for travels to/from Odawara station.

The property boasts views of Tonomine, Myojogatake and Mount Asama. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Everything is awesome. Great view, well maintained property, beautiful landscape and garden, wide selection for dinner and breakfast, food is top notch and generous. Staff are well trained and professional.

Guests at Hakone Mount View can enjoy rare volcanic hot spring water called nigori-yu, either in a shared open-air bath or at a surcharge in a private one. The hotel offers a shop with local products, Japanese-style confectionery shop. All in all probably the best place we were in while traveling in Japan. You get yukata to walk around, very peaceful environment in the middle of the mountains, super friendly staff, room was spacious and clean. We had breakfast + dinner combo, which was typical Kaiseki with many different things. Just be prepared - it's A LOT of food (both). We skipped lunch while we stayed there. We tried one of the private onsen which was one of the best we tried. Room had a toilet but no bathroom, so you shower in the public onsen (typical of Ryokan w/ onsen for the unware). There's a Lawson super close, which is handy.

Just 500 metres from Miyanoshita Station, it offers indoor and outdoor pools, a spa and a restaurant in a converted Imperial Villa called Kikka-so Inn. Rooms feature bathtubs with natural hot-spring water. Excellent amenities and services. We were also offered an upgrade to an apartment from our room. We were travelling a lot and use the room only to sleep, bath and relax a little bit after long days. So we have no clue about the restaurants. The parking is sufficient and the hotel is well placed to make trips in the surroundings. We felt very well treated.

The room was clean, updated, with everything you might need. The balcony overlooking Mount Fuji was incredible. Relaxing in our own private hot spring overlooking the view was just incredible. And it’s a 2 minute walk from the pirate ship port so easy access to the Hakone loop.
