Providing a restaurant, the property also has a bar, as well as a sauna and a hot spring bath. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage space and currency exchange for guests. We selected the hotel because of baths on the top and location close to Toyosu fish market, where we won the lottery for early morning visit (5:30am) with a guide. Great choice, the hotel was really fantastic. We arrived before lunch and they stored our luggage, so we could return to explore Tokyo city center till late evening. We returned after 9pm, just in time for baths (free of charge), then relax with ice cream (free of charge) and late evening ramen in restaurant (also free of charge). All this was very nice. Hotel is very clean, rooms perfectly prepared for us, with all what is required for a great stay. Excellent view from the room and also from the baths, especially after sunset, with all the lights of Tokyo, the bridge. The hotel 5 minutes walk from the train station and surrounding area is also nice and clean. The price we paid for all this I conciser as accurate, good value for money and if I will come to Tokyo in future, this is the hotel I will return to.

Very relaxing place and offers a very nice view even if it's raining. Really good food and very friendly stuff. The onsen is fantastic. It is a bit of a hike from the nearest bust stop so make sure you travel light unless you have no option.

Free Wifi is available throughout the property and free private parking is provided on site. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. When I asked the restaurant staff which items were Halal/Vegetarian/seafood, she asked a senior staff member who proceeded to explain each buffet item one by one to explain the ingredients and check if it suited my diet (not having pork or non-halal meats). Moreover, when knowing that my options were somewhat limited, the restaurant staff ensured to share with me the upcoming buffet items on the following days which did suit my diet. I already went to the hotel knowing that my options were limited, but the staff exceeded my expectations by ensuring that we were taken care of. It's worth noting that the food was delicious. They had a dedicated staff member taking family photographs of guests by the water terrace. these are just a couple of examples where staff members put the customers as their highest priority. We also loved the spotless clean rooms and facilities, various dedicated slippers available (hotel room slippers, hotel area sandals, bathroom sandals, private balcony/Onsen crocs). The vending machines, free coffee, gift/shop, proximity to public transportation were quite convenient too.

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Guests can find a private hot spring bath and Japanese restaurant on site. Me & my husband stayed for one night in the twin room with private hot spring bath. This huge room was very beautiful and cozy, clean & well equipped with different amenities (tea, kettle, mini fridge, yukatas, large tv with a Super Nintendo etc.). Just as promised in the listing. It was so lovely to enjoy the private onsen in our room, nobody to disturb us and no rush. The wooden tub fits two people well, even when sitting side by side. The window above the tub can be opened, the view is to a parking lot/other hotel. We had access to the hotel’s three other private onsen baths aswell and could use them whenever they were free, but we liked to stick to the one in our room. The location is excellent, there are some convenience stores nearby & you can walk from the bus station in about 10 minutes to the hotel. There are also some restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were very kind, welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay in Eidaya and would definitely love to come back sometime! It was such a wonderful little escape from bustling Tokyo.

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. The property boasts views of Tonomine, Myojogatake and Mount Asama. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. We have visited 3 times and it always is a wonderful treat. Great baths, great breakfast, lovely room. Warm recommendation for couples.

Guests will find a shared kitchen for their convenience and a terrace boasting mountain views. Have been staying in K house chain in Fujikawaguchiko as well. Probably the best hostel in the Japan through out my stay. Very clean & lot of social space

Guests at Hakone Mount View can enjoy rare volcanic hot spring water called nigori-yu, either in a shared open-air bath or at a surcharge in a private one. The hotel offers a shop with local products, Japanese-style confectionery shop. Both the private and public onsens are beautiful and the meals are spectacular both in terms of visuals and taste! The staff are some of the kindest hotel staff I've ever met and they made sure everything is absolutely perfect for me. The room I stayed in was spot-free clean, very comfortable and, as a plus-size woman, I truly appreciated the yukata size-up options I was kindly offered before I even had to ask!!! Another great point was the fact that it was just a 9minute walk away from the Choanji Buddhist Temple, which is not included much in the "must see" lists of Hakone on the internet, but it is a spectacular temple with a mini forest PACKED with statues of all shapes and kinds. The walk on the temple grounds was such an amazing experience. Would definitely love to visit Mount View Hakone again!
