And it’s in several minutes walking distance to 千客萬來 and 豐州巿場，so we could wake up as early as 4:00am to queue up for dining at 壽司大. And it’s convenient to go to 台場 for a 2-night stay. And one must not forget to use the spa service at the top floor of the hotel.

Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. The property is modern and comfortable. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped. The common living room is great. You have 2 onsens: outside, with rocks and mountain views, inside, modern. Capsules are comfy.

Loved the entire facility - was fantastic for a family (2 adults, 2 kids under 6 + grandparents). We booked two rooms and they were super spacious, lots of room to lounge about and also for the kids to jump and get their energy out. On-site facilities were fantastic - private onsen bath in our bathroom was amazing to relax in, plus the "public" onsen was also super relaxing. There was a play area for kids which they really enjoyed, and the kids loved the free snacks, icy poles and hot chocolate/soft drinks. Breakfast was buffet and delicious. Was very easy to get to - just 5 mins walk from Gora station, and super easy to catch cable car up mountain or train to do the Hakone Loop. Also walking distance to the Hakone Open Air museum. Overall very very family friendly, and we spent a couple of afternoons just enjoying the very relaxing atmosphere.

Lovely rooms, great onsen, friendly and helpful staff. Really close to Gora station for the cable car (beat the crowds in the morning) and to get back to Tokyo. Family Mart and Lawson nearby. Great value for money. Nice breakfast.

Featuring a terrace with views of Lake Ashi, Hakone・Ashinoko Hanaori offers a soothing hot spring bath and sauna. The property is situated a 2-minute walk from Togendai Station on Hakone Ropeway. The stay was pretty much perfect. We booked the use of private onsen, wich was super clean and organized. Great location and phenomenal landscapes from the terrace. Meals (breakfast and dinner) with great variety of options and the food was delicious. The room was also very good and comfy. It´s next to the lake, cable car and boat ride.

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Staffs are nice and friendly; no problem with English communication. Our room was good with a private onsen in the room. In addition, this hotel has three private onsens (free use) 24 hrs. Free tea and coffee. 10 mins walking distance from the main bus station. This hotel has a shuttle bus, between the bus station and the hotel.
