Ideally situated in the centre of Kyoto, ALA HOTEL KYOTO features air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a restaurant. This 4-star hotel provides a spa experience, with its hot spring bath and spa centre. The hotel offers a sauna and a 24-hour front desk. The room was bigger than other places we've stayed and very clean. The location is also very good, close to a station and easy to access a lot of places.

Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Kishu Museum of Art is 1.4 km away and Heisogen Park is 1.5 km from the apartment. We had an amazing stay, the hotel had literally everything we could think of: a spacious room with lots of different (!!) outlets including type-c and usb, free use of hotel onsen with volcanic water (tattoo-friendly), drinking water and fully equipped shared kitchen, and of course - a very reasonably priced bakery. Would definitely stay again if in Shirahama!

Offering free WiFi throughout the property, the non-smoking hotel features a hot spring bath. Building was newly renovated and combined traditional with modern minimalist vibes. Location was perfect center of town and next door to Jizoyu onsen. Staff were outstanding hosts spoke English and always available to assist. Breakfast was excellent and varied from daily. Featuring koshihikari rice made in a donabe and fresh egg for TKG!The private onsen and sauna were excellent. If you have never stayed in a traditional Onsen Ryokan, Akaishiya will spoil you and be your reference point going forward.
