The staff were so nice and friendly, and the amenities were everything you could possibly need and more. The onsens were beautiful, immaculate and clean - and the hotel breakfast was definitely one of the best meals I’ve ever had! The late night soba hit the spot and the snacks were endless (popsicles, yakult, drinks in the lobby machine). Also loved the super comfortable yukatas and pjs that the hotel provided. It’s easily walkable distance from a JR station (just one stop away from Kyoto station), and there are multiple bus stops within a 5-10 minute walk that can take you all over Kyoto. It’s across the street from a 7-11, and right next to one of the prettiest parks!

The property is non-smoking and is situated 400 metres from Gion Shijo Station. Second time staying at this beautiful hotel. First things first, the staff are just wonderful. The Onsen has an incredible view (be sure to stay two nights, as there are two Onsens. But only one with a view. Gender is swapped each day. The rooftop bar with foot baths is a lovely touch. The rooms are very comfortable and the location is perfect. Again the staff are incredible. We will never stay anywhere else in Kyoto. Can't wait to return!!

We had connecting rooms, yay Buffet breakfast was superb Buffet dinner was not bad too.

After a long day of hiking (25 km), sitting in the onsen there is an indescribable pleasure!

The ryokan provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. the host is really superb friendly and helpful.provide us recommendation of day spent .location is superb,its at the end of the street.but we enjoy so much as we could explore shops along the way to hryokan from the train station.and the most beautiful onsen is within 2 to 5 minutes from ryokan.We arrived around 1pm,stroll along the street,shopping,eating,photo shooting..then reached hotel check in time.room are spacious and clean and we love so much the tradition japanese style room. Host provide us yukata.oh ya...the ropeway oso just right opposite the ryokan.to summary,its really a great place to stay.will be back here if coming to kinosaki again.location is just superb.and most important host is friendly.
