Both the entire village and the accommodation are exceptional. The hotel's onsens are very cool, in the morning you can try rice porridge cooked with thermal water. The hotel has its own small convenience store for hikers. After a long day of hiking (25 km), sitting in the onsen there is an indescribable pleasure!

Incredible experience - we loved every moment of our time here. It was our first ryokan & onsen experience, and everything exceeded expectations. The hosts were attentive & helpful, the Japanese tatami room was spacious and comfortable, and it is in the premium location in the town centre. We chose to include dinner & breakfast, and both were phenomenal. Yukata and kimono were provided, and they took great photos for us. The private onsens inside the ryokan were lovely, and a great introduction before we went to the public onsens in town. Highly recommend. Thank you!!!!

We thought at first the mattress was a little firm(this seems standard in Japan), but ended up sleeping well.

The room size was perfect for three people, and everything was very clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and warm, and they helped us with everything we needed. Our room also included an onsen pass, which was a great bonus. The location was also very convenient.
