It also boasts a thermal-heated indoor swimming pool. Free WiFi is provided in public areas. The service is awesome! All the staff, from the reception to the dining room, are extremely helpful and friendly. The room is spacious for even five people. Their onsens are well maintained and beautiful. Dinner and breakfast Kaiseki are beyond my expectations.

Providing free WiFi throughout the property, the ryokan is allergy-free and features a hot spring bath. Room was very spacious. There were 3 heaters in the room, so definately warm enough to anyone's liking if you needed. Room onsen was nice. Food was in a private dining room for dinner and breakfast. There was a very nice lounge to relax in as well. There is a public cave onsen that was quite special. In winter, roads may have snow and need to be wary if driving in.

Guests can relax in the hot spring bath at the property. There is also a public bath that can be reserved for private use. What an extraordinary stay! We had one of our best nights in Japan at Okyakuya! From the first minute the service was outstanding, our baggage was transported to our room, car parked. Great room, even tough traditional it was modernized keeping its original charm. Both dinner and breakfast where amongst the best we had in any Ryokan we stayed at. After checking out we where offered additional towels as we wanted to explorer other Onsens in town

Outstanding service, amazing food (dinner and breakfast included, both multi course exquisitely prepared works of art!) , facilities were lovely (private onsen), very comfortable bed, wonderful stay.

Located in the centre of Kurokawa hot-spring area, it offers Japanese accommodations and free WiFi at the lobby. Free shuttle is available to/from Ogunimachi Yu Station and bus stop Kurokawa. Location. Stunning view and atmosphere. Sympathy from the staff. Kudos for Shujan for his kindness and informative interaction. Amazing food experience.

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. It also features a lounge with complimentary coffee and WiFi, a terrace and a garden. Free parking is available. The stay in the Kurokawa Onsen exceeded our expectations. We spent amazing 18 hours in the onsen. We had specious room with private onsen. We could also use the other onsens in the resort privately. Dinner was served in a private room. The serving, taste, presentation was of the level of Michelin restaurant. The staff pays attention of every detail. Definitely worth recommendation. We loved it!

Everything was perfection - starting from my arrival, public bathhouse experience, the cozy room, delicious dinner and breakfast and very kind staff members. The view of Mt. Aso from the third floor lookout and the footbath area is impeccable. Also, much special thanks to Mr. Isao Tsugayasu, who was extremely helpful and kind to us throughout the stay! He truly made our experience at Yumeshizuku unforgettable. Thank you so much again for your kindness and hospitality. I look forward to my next stay at Yumeshizuku in the nearest future.

Situated in the centre of the Kurokawa Onsen Area and boasting a total of 8 indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, Nanjoen offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and futon bedding. We had a wonderful experience at Nanjoen...the Kaiseki dinner was fantastic, the staff was kind and helpful, location was terrific.

39 km from Mount Aso, Yamashinobu features a recently renovated 4-star accommodation in the Ota Onsen district of Minamioguni. The ryokan provides a spa experience, with its hot spring bath, public bath and open-air bath. The ryokan offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Onsen was exceptional. Rooms were very clean.
