Guests can enjoy the on-site private dining room. Free private parking is available on site. Where to begin? The room was excellent in size and had a nice feeling to it. The onsen was close by. The staff was so kind and service minded. The whole experience with dinner and breakfast was exceptional, especially the staff member whom served us with excellent English. Just the whole experience was quite wonderful.

A free shuttle is available from JR Matsushima Kaigan Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away. We loved our room with a beautiful view to the little islands. Everything was superb organised, the people so helpful and friendly. We liked especially the nice driver who picked us up from the station an even run after me when I forget my phone at the reception. Cheers to him! :) The room was perfect, we slept on tatami mats. And so was the japanese breakfast. We highly recommend! The private bath is gorgeous, but also the public Onsen within the hotel. You get a nice kimono in your room to were within the house. The nice welcome with matcha tea and the drink buffet during the afternoon is a very nice service. We learned the hard way that one have to reserve dinner well in advance. You cannot have it spontaneously. But we got very nice help by the receptionist as he called a restaurant where we rushed by taxi to be in time for the last order. It was a great stay!

The hotel was quite nice, little bit old fashioned, but clean. The room was large enough, in traditional Japanese style (tatami). The spa ("onsen") was really good, we enjoy it very much!

The accommodation features a sauna, hot spring bath, family-friendly restaurant and free WiFi. Very nice lodge. We had the place to ourselves and had therefore space to waste. We could even use the kitchen.

The room, the onsen, the food and the services were all excellent!

Set in the peaceful TogattaOnsen, a very rural town. The area is easier to explore by car. The food was unbelievably good, we did half board, enjoying both breakfast and dinner Japanese style. The service was excellent, all the staff were so helpful, even with my limited Japanese. If you want a relaxing place, this is it, they have both public and private baths available (private is extra cost).

And Ms. 橫山道子 - She is SUPER FRIENDLY!!! 🙏 I am very happy and grateful for my 一期一會 in 竹泉莊！
