There was a terrace with a beautiful view adding on to the comfort of the room. The dinner was traditional Japanese-style and for sure it should not be missed! The multi-course kaiseki meal was beautifully presented and very delicious, including fresh, local, seasonal ingredients. The hotel's location is good for visiting the Itsukushima Torii (Water gate) as it is just one station away from it but at the same time away from the madness of the island.

The hotel has an excellent solution : a shuttle van! Attention: the name on the van says "Route Inn", not Grandviro. Cherry on the cake: if you wait for this van at the hotel, just take place in their nice waiting corner facing the bay, with free beverages. Bravo! Very clean room. The bed is perfect as is the bathroom/shower/bathtub. Perfect lift too. There is a 7-Eleven on the other side of the street at the traffic lights and a good udon noodles restaurant a 10 min stroll away heading to the station.
